Pre-priming the MC and small metal clamp...

Hi Again!
The pen torch worked! Like a charm in fact for getting the flarenut loose that was stuck to the clutch MC.
After I hit the blue flame for less then ten seconds I was able to practically turn it by hand after that. Thanks Still Saabnet! It was your suggestion!
Next, I wiggled out the clutch MC pass the alternator. Pried off the rubber hose and clamp from old MC. The hose is now precariously propped up so as not to drain the brake fluid out.
My question is, is pre-priming the MC as simple as letting the fluid drain out the flarenut for a bit before re-tightening it?
Or is there more to it then that?
My other question is: Where do I buy a new metal clamp to attach to the rubber hose to the new MC I am about to put in? I bought a box of small metal clamps at Harbor Freight tools but they all look too big now that I have had a good look at them.
Thanks!
Nanette
