Hi,

A nice set of wheel chocks is your home improvement place, find the guy that cuts the lumber on the saws, you are looking for a piece of 4x4 or 4x6 about a foot long. Scraps pile, less money, take a longer piece for other stuff later if that's what is available.

Have the person cut it diagonally so that you have two wedges, think kids building blocks where the two triangles fit together to form a rectangle - difference here is that the blocks will be twice as wide, they can stand alone. if there is any left have them cut into a couple of 10 inch or so lengths, always handy for keep the muffler off the deck when the engine/transmission is pulled, or when you have the muffler disconnected to do a head job, that sort. AND while you there see if the scrap pile has any 3/4 or 1" plywood any grade, get some 10x10 squared cut, excellent to put on the floor jack to spread the weight out while pushing the engine/trans up to get to bits between the engine and the firewall, keeps from denting/crushing the oil pan. After you get home if you have any left over enamal or semigloss paint give them a couple or three coats. makes oil drip clean up a snap.

Lastly, if you want to really do this up, on the wedges, get some non-skid strips like would be put on stairs and put on the LONG side of the wedge, that is the side you want in contact with the concrete, the short side will have an angle to the horizontal that way and the tire will try to ride up that and the resultant force will help push the hypotenuse into the floor... ok, Physics class off now... ha ha ha

However, no girly paint colors, only manly man colors... kidding...
