you won't have to rebuild it again. It should go at least 200K if you take care and don't drive it like you stole it. Doing it right the first time is always the cheapest way out. The piece of mind that you won't have to deal with it again is well worth the price. Believe me, keeping a C900 going will give you plenty of opportunities to develope a wide range of "skill sets." Trying to rebuild the trans is just plain masocistic.
