After many desperate and stubborn tie rod ends, here is what I found out works best....
* Back off the nut but leave a good amount of threads but space for the joint to pop
* Put a bit of WD 40 on it
* get a block of wood
* get a small jack
* put the block of wood centered on the jack and center of the nut on the knuckle
* gently increase jack pressure gradually lightly tapping the side of the knuckle housing
* if after a bit it seems to be too much pressure and no movement apply a small amount of heat to the knuckle housing, careful not to cook the rubber groument
The worst of those knuckles never beat me and it saved the joint and my hands!
