If that is the case the oil pressure (as I think all H blocks are) release valve is right where Larry said in the timing chain cover and I believe that the driver's side (American) motor mount blocks top access, so you would have to crawl under the car and make little baby turns w/ you wrench for about two years.

If it is the 94 mentioned above then you should have self adjusting hydraulic tappets that, yes, work off of oil pressure. But many miles and residue build up can cause the little ball bearing in there not to seal properly and as suggested the best first step would be to do a good engine flush. I would lean toward to the Mysterious Marvel Oil, but Gunk makes good suff as well.
