Bob has it spot on.
Just so you know, the vac servo is not an advance mechanism, it is to smoothly retard the timing when the boost charge starts to arrive in the in intake manifold.
The first thing to do is to measure the timing so you know if you even have to move the distributor. Sounds like it is off by 20 if it is running that rough. Don't even look at the dial on the timing light until you marry up the ZERO degree mark on the flywheel. Then, look at where the dial reports the timing.
Then, as Bob said, set the dial on 20, and move the distributor until the ZERO mark is lined up on the bombsight. Hope I wasn't too repetitive.....
