Bleed clutch to remove spacer? Posted by markatl [Email] (#1833) [Profile/Gallery] (more from markatl) on Sun, 3 Jun 2012 12:35:21 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
So once I make the disk, slave, pressure plate sandwhich and put it in place, I connect the slave line, right? Then I need to bleed the system to have enough pressure so I can remove the spacer from the pressure plate when I push the clutch pedal down?
I did loose some fluid after removal of the old slave and placed it to the side; I then pushed the pedal in to insert the spacer- I think it blew a seal? It leaked pretty good before I saw it.
I have replaced the rear seal and will take the flywheel in tomorrow to have resurfaced-only $20 at a reputable place.
thanks for any help.
