Hi Chris, Which "clutch cover" are you talking about? I think the Belgians used to call that part a pressure plate before they changed it to waaallooon, but,in any case, that slave piston can and has traveled too far and blown out it's seal (and walrus) on me not more than three times in farty six years (since the 900's came out) so in spite of several other ways to remove the ring I always take the time to pry it out. It doesn't hurt the PP fingers, I've been using the same ring since the early 80's, and the seals stay together in their zoos! I haven't been drinking apple J, I've spent the day doing my taxes and my brain is blurry. Turtles, turtles, and more turtles.
