they can't be listed both working and nonoperational.
A quick guess: interior lights are working, the headlights are working too (but you didn't check the high-beam indicator which isn't working) and the rear defroster actually is working (put it on and check the glass itself with your hand), but its indicator light isn't. You also didn't check the glovebox lighting and cigarette lighter which don't work, right?
G8. Ah, you don't have the G8, but you've got grounding point 3 - yep, that very thing behind the instrument cluster.
The only thing which bugs me is the hazard lights (e-flasher) - you can't make it flashing but you can turn it on and off, on and off, on and off - when the button is pressed, it's on and visa versa - right? If this is true, then it's got to be that very ground connection. Otherwise it's weird.

Ok, there's the second thing which is bugging me: go to google.com and put the squirter in and go with images. Holy wrench & saint ohmmeter, man! Dude, what ARE they doing?
