Re: Update: got DIN console out and center console out Posted by CBS [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: Update: got DIN console out and center console out, Justin VanAbrahams ![]() |
To clarify, I checked the 6 ground connection (solid) below drivers side of key. But, unless my mind is failing (entirely possible) there should be a single ground with ring connector that fits under one of two large screws holding down the bottom of the DIN console. I'll check my other '88 SPG just to ease my mind on that one. Not sure where to go from here. I'm not sure where Ziggie's ground 3 behind instrument panel (C) is located. Bentley wasn't clear on that. Ie, can I access it through a speaker hole? Also checked the wire bundle -- seemed undamaged. And the door locking system works fine; apparently ruling out the 6 wire ground below key. Anybody know how to access Ziggies ground? Any other obvious things that I should check? The only thing "different" that I did was plug in the Saab Alarm module so the light on the drivers speaker works (the alarm is unplugged brown wire above passengers front wheel well). Probably something I should do -- disconnect the alarm module and maybe that has something to do with it. PS, also cleaned up the big ground on front frame next to radiator when I replaced the battery a month ago.
