And the six grounds going to the shifter mounting (under the cover) are solid. But I was messing around with removing the DIN mounted gauge cluster (last Spring) and I kind of put things back in place without bolts/screws so I could get back in there easy. But upon taking things out this round I thought I remembered there should be a ground with a ring connector that goes under one of the 2 large screws (close to the sunroof connector) that hold down the bottom of the DIN console. Am I remembering correctly? I shined a light all around the shifter ball area and as much as I could under those screw holes and didn't see any sign of a loose ground with ring connector. AM I DREAMING THAT THERE SHOULD BE A GROUND THERE? I'll go out and try the door locks to put that 6 wire ground idea to bed. Also removed the ignition connectors checked them and they all seemed sound.
