I had been running just a straight hose reinforced Posted by vvack0matic [Email] (#1443) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vvack0matic) on Wed, 2 Apr 2014 20:43:37 In Reply to: As much as you think you want to go with a stright hose, RS [Profile/Gallery] , Wed, 2 Apr 2014 20:21:42 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
By a spring to prevent decompression of the hose when it goes under vacuum at the end the hose is clamped to a metal pipe that fills the hole in the inlet pipe and just pushed it in and used a gasket maker to seal it air tight. I cut the radiator hose out of the oem pipe and using it as a bridge to fill the gap.
Reason being was my oem hose was dry rotted up by the valve cover and snapped a good portion of it off one day by accident and with the oem pipe discontinued had no choice but to invent something.
Never had a problem with the straight hose, its been about 6years that its been modded this way. Wait,.. No it must of been around 9 years now' man where dose the time go.
