Getting ready to drive a rust free Calif car to Maine. According to some it should be good for 8-10 years before things start to perforate and freeze solid. I'm all over the car right now getting ready. Any advice on which bolts and threaded items are most troublesome would be appreciated. I don't need to hear about waxing, washing, undercoating etc. There is no garage there. The car may be parked in the woods for periods. Should it be parked on a tarp if it's not driven for extended periods? It will be left with family who aren't likely to do preventive stuff once it gets to Maine. I'll remove the brake nipples and silcone grease those threads. I've silcone greased the lower control arm nuts. I have some exhaust work to do so I'm thinking I'd grease those threads with anti-seize.
