Tom
I feel the same way you do about my Saab! I have a 5 speed 1993 9000CSE Turbo and am having continued problems with my TCS system. I have a class A mechanic (with a TechII System)who has done all he can barring replacing the main ECU. My car will throw the alarm and go into limp mode sitting in my garage! I have had ongoing problems with this since I bought the car 4 years ago and am near the end of my rope. Hoses, throttle body and pedal sensors have all been replaced. Original problem occurred when I was driving and hit the turbo - alarm went off and into limp mode I went. I could shut the car off and restart and the alarm would reset and would be okay intil the next time - once a week. Then the car threw the alarm and I was not able to reset by shutdown and restart. We went through the above parts and all was fine for about 1 year. Yesterday, the car threw the alarm in the garge and general Safety code came up with throttle sensor. He cleared codes - car ran fine for 4 hours. Repeated above resetting of the codes and here I am - waiting for the next TCS failure. If you find the "silver bullet" solution with your mechanic PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I am desparate...this car must go if I can't solve this problem soon.
