Overfilling will cause the crank to "whip" the oil. Air (gasses) will compress, liquids(oil) will not. You have no way of knowing what the oil pressure actually did. The good news is pressure does not make the oil do its job, a constant flow of it does. The pressure is what gets the fresh flow of oil to where it needs to work. Without an actual reading of pressure before and after the "event" short of a tear down there is no way to know what, if any damage was done. What it really comes down to is if metal did not rub on metal nothing was hurt.
If you are really worried pull a sample and have it anilized and then double change the oil, pull another sample and compare the metals in the 2 samples. Run the car a simalar amount of miles before taking the second sample. A high amount of copper or chomium in the first sample would indicate bearing wear.
I had a similar incident occur while a helping friend consumed to many beers while in the shop one night. My clue should have been the 8 empty quart oil bottles laying in the corner.
