A bit of a voltage drop on AC compressor kick in is normal.
You don't mention if you have a turbo or non-turbo engine. The AC pulls a lot of power. The feel due to the AC load on a non-turbo engine can be significant.
That said, do yourself a favor and have your AC pressure checked. Mention the 'sag' when the AC kicks in. If the freon level is low, or the compressor is on the way out, it will take a lot more ooomph to get it going. This might be a warning sign, and if you catch it early, you may be able to avoid more expensive repairs or being stranded on the road. You don't mention the year of your car; in newer cars, there is one belt that drives everything, including the AC compressor. If the compressor siezes, it can burn up the clutch or throw the belt, and the car will be undriveable.
Good luck!
