Have read posts on the improvement in handling from poly swaybar bushings. In general is this a good upgrade over replacing with stock rubber or is it strictly for high performance? Could poly rears cause unpredictable oversteer in ice and snow, loose gravel, etc? Has anyone tried the greasable 11/16" Energy Suspension units? Seems they would work for the rear 17.5mm bar but would need to be reamed out (which might be easier said than done) for the 18mm front bar.
I'm mainly interested in restoring decent handling to my 89 9000s with 195,000 miles. Bought this car in January many years after selling my last Saab, a 68 96v4 Deluxe, and would have a hard time working on it without the expertise on this Bulletin Board.
