Where in the northeast? The temp gauge for outside air temp. is probably in the engine compartment which in my car reads about 5 degrees hotter than normal, because its next to a hot engine. The miles per gallon indicator, will change depending on your driving, but it is an average since it was rest last. If you reset it every time you fill up, it will change more frequently. Dont know about your little car picture though.
