As you scroll through the different readings there is an average (the one that doesn't change often) and an instant fuel mileage. If the average numbers do not match acctuall recorded readings a SAAB dealer can recalibrate per service bullitin.
The outside temp sensor is behind the left front fog light location. When stopped, engine compartment and road heat will cause that area to be warmer than ambiant temp. I've found mine to be pretty darn accurate at highway speed.
The voltmeter function is notoriously inaccuate, though watching it for a different reading than normal is usefull.
The car picture to the left is a warning pictogram. In addition to the car lighting up you should see at least one of the following: a door open, low oil pressure warning, rear light out, front light out, or SRS.
