Andrew, it's okay to relay info from your own experience, other knowledgeable users, and even hardware retailers, but if you're going to denegrate a product why not acquire some details first? The info you have given apparently isn't from first-hand experience, so why not call this retailer and get some specifics? We'd all like to know, I'm sure, as more than one of us use this product.

A year or so ago some TSN respondent reported that his indy said that synthetic oil would ruin your engine. I asked for more info and received none, and lacking any other input I and I'm sure everyone else put this report on the shelf with other baseless rumors. Your's may not be baseless, but I'm sure we'd all like to hear more.

As I've said, I've used Deluxe pads for 25 years with no problems, so I'd be happy to hear of any quality control problems have been experienced by whomever. Does this involve one set of pads sold by this retailer, more than one, or is this a phenomenon seen region- or nation-wide? Has there been a recall? I would think a defect in brake pads would require a concerted effort to pull them off the market.
