I was browsing the Swedish Turbo Saab Club bulletin board and saw a few plug gap posts, replyed by Dr Boost. He (again) advised to go with the stadard plugs and 1.10mm gap, like he's doing with his own tonner.
My owner's manual says 1.0mm (+0.1 -0.2 mm) (-94 CSE 2.3 FPT). I know I've posted several times in favor of the 0.95 mm gap, but yesterday I regapped them to the said 1.10mm. Wow. As Dr Boost said, idle quality and low-mid range improved by a mile. With a 100% good DI casette there were absolutely no high speed / high boost (CC stage 1) problems either. In addition, the throttle needs only to be featherd for cruising. I'll let you know if/how the mileage is affected in a bit.
I checked my notes and I guess I never tried the 1.10mm, only the 0.8-1.0mm range.
Now I'm a believer.
