As Quasi mentioned, I'm getting sporadic clutch slippage primarily in 3rd-5th gears. The ECU bumps BHP to ~260 or so, torque to 290 lb. ft., and the original clutch and PP have 70k miles on them.
Gary at Swedish Dynamics says I should replace only the disk to their 235mm Kevlar/carbon composite, and although they have a 240mm (stock size) version he doesn't recommend it for street because it is too "grabby." Regardless of which PP I use (stock spec or stronger), I will replace it with a new item.
Several people have recommended that I replace the MC and hose, the latter to a high-performance braided version to reduce swelling. If there is a restriction in either component it could be causing this problem, and it wouldn't hurt to replace both anyway.
My plan at this time is to replace the PP and hose (braided), and if this doesn't cure the problem (likely it won't) I'll pull the tranny in mid-February. By that time I hope I'll have a plan down on what to replace and with what specs. At this time it is tempting to replace everything with heavy-duty components just to overkill it and have my bases covered.
