My stock (and original) clutch is still well. I guess it all comes down to how you use it. Full throttle first to second gear changes can be bad if you so choose. Depends what you want out of it.
Keep in mind all the transmission failures some have reported after significant torque increase AND a HD clutch job. The torque spikes kill trannies I believe, think of your clutch as a fuse in the drive train.
No other first hand info than my own car.
