Lu, I read your posts last night (thanks to John's "crank angle sensor" search) and have become convinced my problem is the same as yours was. I'm currently waiting for my new CPS.
The only difference between your story and mine is that it takes at least an hour for the car to cool to the point I can start it again.
Thanks for your help.
