I was looking at the Townsend site regarding the head bolts. Mine look ok, they are the later style with torx heads with a lubricating varnish, and feel ok when I am torquing them down. Is it possible they need to be lubricated better and could be simply losing torque due to friction? I'm not entirely convinced this could be the case as I've never personally seen an engine leak coolant out between the head and block like this unless the engine is running and pressurizing the coolant system. It strikes me that even if the head bolts were losing some torque to friction it should still seal well enough to hold coolant then it is cold.
