Some here like to argue that they cost too much. But if that -110 valve is $45-50 and you relpace it every 1.5 yrs, then you'd spend $100 for them within 3 yrs. The Forged type units are made of aluminum and they don't wear out. You can take them apart(it's only made of about 4-5 pieces) and clean them, switch springs for your particular setup, replace their O-rings, lubricate them, and just put them back together 10 minutes later. I got mine off of e-bay BRAND NEW for $80. The -110 valve I was using wasn't even a yr old yet and was already giving me problems, but in it's defense I was trying to run 22 psi through it.

The -105 valve wasn't the only one out there. There are a few others that had like -102, -103 or whatever and they're all crap. The -110 valve is basicly a redesigned unit of those others but, was made to withstand higher boost pressures that some of SAAB's newer cars created, like the the Viggen and Aero. Sometimes you'll hear them being called "Viggen Valves" but there's NO such thing, it's just another term for the -110 valve that's all, but they say It I guess because it's standard issue under the Viggens hood. Again, same valve.

What are the older valves such as the -102, -105 and such rated to as you mentioned in the beginning? I've read it someplace before but can't recall the reading right now. I'd guess about 15 psi at best, considering they were used in the older cars that at most made 11-12 psi.
