Get the Aero and sell the seats (or use them as sun chairs). Replace with the regular seats. Everyone seems to make so much commotion about the seats. If you don't like them, I bet there would be half a dozen people (on this board alone) willing to drive to your house and swap out the entire interior for no charge. I personally am thinking about replacing the back seats for a more user friendly setup.
Get the car that is in the best shape (exterior and interior). Aero's usually have the scars of their spirited nature. I was lucky in that mine was devoid of any (previous) body damage. Overall, I don't think there will
be any savings mechanically if you get a CSE over an Aero (a CSE won't be any less in maintenance cost or reliability than an Aero or vice versa).
I researched Aero's for months before my purchase. It comes down to this. If you are going to keep the car for only a few years, get the Aero since they will hold their value the most. I got the Aero predominately since I didn't want to monkey with "making" a CSE into an Aero. That and the fact that usually only buy the top of the line perfomance car.
