Funny that the blue spring is being mentioned here. I had heard of that spring before and when I questioned Stratmosphere about it (hoping to get one), they denied ever offering such a thing.
They did say that I would need to pre-load the spring since Saab's are different from Audi's and the Hyper is definitely tuned for an Audi. Of course, in addition to the high price of the BPV itself, they also offer a pre-load dial-in thingie to attach to the BPV for $60 more!!!!!!! Personally, I think a couple of $0.05 washers will suffice for me.
Also, I understand what is being said of being aware of the rpm's to minimize lag, but unfortunately, since I have an auto, it's not too wild of an idea to bring up the rpm's at a standstill, and then let the car fly from that point. Again, I only get this lag at start-up. It's non-existent once the car is moving and is not in any other gear but 0 to 1st. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the re-mapped ECU now, though the supplier swears by the fact that the software I have definitely should not be introducing lag.
My software is BSR, which I assumed would know about avoiding lag. In fact, come to think of it, I installed my JT before the ECU, and during that interim, I had zero lag. Hmmmm, might I be looking into the wrong thing here?
