93 9000 CDE Possibly totalled :( (long)

Well guys after having my 93 9K CDE for 4 months some idiot decided that it was unfit for me to have a decent, reliadle, good-looking luxury car that I actually enjoyed driving. After spending 5 friggin hours detailing the hell out of my car I decided that I would call it a night and get myself a nice fat filled treat from Jack in the Box. On my way back I was headed Southbound on a four-lane 1 way hiway, when out of the blue I see headlights coming towards me??? And as the old saying goes, "the rest is history". The parts that were damaged are as listed: grille, corner light, drivers fender, headlights not busted but out of sockets, wheel bent...
An oddity that I noticed when trying to drive the vehicle away was that the steering heel will only turn the passenger wheel now? The wheel that got hit on the drivers side just stays in it's position with no movement at all. The car had to be towed away from the scene and won't know anything until an adjuster goes to look at it sometime this week.
After I got the accident report today I noticed that the guy had the same insurance company that I have. #1.Is this going to cause me any problems with filing a claim? #2. How do I go about getting the insurance company to get me a rental? #3. If they do determine that it is totalled, what is a fair amount to settle for a 93 9000 CDE in immaculete condition with 158K on it?
Thanx for listenin guys and sorry for being long winded, but I'm very pissed right now.
