It may be that the o2 sensor input does not begin to effect operation until a certain temperature is achieved. That was the case on some older cars I have had. I think that may also be true of the Air Mass Meter (does your car have an Air Mass Meter - I think I remember reading that trionic did away with the AMM).
The $64,000 question is whether the timing of this problem is coincidence or cause and effect. I don't suppose you still have either or the first 2 02 sensors. Base boost should be the result of the trionic thinking there is pre-detonation. Have you tried swapping DI cassettes? You can also get base boost from a cruise control malfunction. Does cruise work?
