The fan in our 93 has suddenly become either fully on or fully off, in both AUTO and manual control modes. As you hold the increase button, the fan will run at top speed once some threshold is reached. When you subsequently hold the decrease button, the fan will suddenly shut off. The rear door fans still have proportional response to the control. After calibration, zero error codes are reported. The cabin air sensor fan is clean and working. Before I dig in and start measuring voltages, etc., has anyone had a similar problem? The fan speed control seems suspect, but is able to turn the fan on or off. Is it's transistor, aparently a NPN bipolar acccording to my Saab shop manual, replaceable? Are the 93 and 94 ACC control units interchangeable?
