he has a write-up of the procedure how to do it. From '93 onward you don't need to change the ECU, so that's ok.

Note that for an automatic car you can disable the TCS temporarily by lightly pushing the brake pedal until the brake light switch engages. (left foot braking) Not sure if true also for 5speed, owners' manual doesn't make the distinction IIRC.
As has been frequently said on this board: disabling tcs does NOT save you from TCS LHM problems as these are related to the electronic throttle system that comes with the package. It just gives you wheelspin under slippery circumstances.
If you want to get rid of the system altoghether, read Daren's post and ask yourself 'do I feel lucky today?'
