Thanks everyone for the replies. The price would DEFINITELY need to be negotiated downwards...but I will be patient til the new job arrives. I am inclined to look for a 96-98 9000 in any case to try to hit the end of the model years.
If I seriously look into the car I will be sure to check fluids and the battery and keep an eye on leaky seals and hoses.
Hey, if you want to kill mice in your garage I'd skip the bait - a dead mouse rotting in your walls is no one's idea of a good time. I caught 14 mice one summer at work using the D-con covered traps. These line up the mice for a perfect humane kill every time, you can't get your fingers pinched, and there's no need to handle the dead mouse after.
