As a follow up, I killed the thing on the evening of Sunday the 11th, and had the codes reset on Monday the 12th. Car is still running fine. I know this stuff is nerve racking, Peter, but get the codes *all* reset before you jump to conclusions. IMO, the *FIRST* step in diagnosing any TCS LHM problem is to have ***ALL*** THE CODES CLEARED (not before noting them down, of course) and the system calibrated. Then drive the car to see if it happens again. If it does, you've got a cleaner slate from which to start diagnosing, since any extraneous codes from fiddling around and pulling the battery/fuses will be cleared. I'm sure a lot of the codes mine had stored were due to me disconnecting stuff overnight to see if when I connected it all back up things would be OK.
