I think that if the labor that HE did on your car isn't really working now, that he should be semi-responcible for checking it again, and if more reapirs need to be done, a possible discount. I've just had that happen to me SO many times, where a mechanic, saab or otherwise, doesn't completely fix the problem the FIRST time, and you have to go back again and again and AGAIN, until you wonder if there is somewhere else you should be bringing your business.... nothing against the guy if you two are friends... but $80 is some of the most expensive labor rates they could be charging, period. The quality of the labor at that cost should be a little better than what you just got... in my own opinion...

so dial away, make an appointment and let us know what he thinks about all this stuff... focus more on getting the car to run correctly now thoug, rather than tell him about the srs and dash display...
