It is possible Saab specifies a special variation of a Bosch O2 sensor. After all this is what Bosch and most all other suppliers do, provide what the auto companies what they want.
I wonder how many O2 sensor replacements go awry due to the reference oxygen source being blocked by soldered and/or sealed wire splices. The reference oxygen reaches the sensor via the air gap between the strands of the wires. It doesn't take much O2 to make it's way to the sensor through the wires, but if it can't, the sensor doesn't work properly.
