...best thing i ever did was go buy some stinger 12 gauge speaker wire... and "redo" all of the stock factory speaker wiring. If you plan on sending ANY ammount of power to the speakers over what the factory stereo was designed to do, you can't expect the wire to be efficient for your purposes...

This all depends on HOW MUCH more power you are sending...

The 4 channel infinity kappa 255a amp i have does about 50 watts RMS each channel... and it's really putting out very close to that all the time, unles the factory deck that might not even claim 25 watts per channel. (check out my amp in an acution on ebay item number: 5713063324)

I don't know about a 93's sotck clarion amp, i could be corrected and surprised at how much power the amp put out... but regardless...

...the wiring should be replaced if you are replacing the drivers...

Then you don't have to worry about any inline crossovers or limiters.

If you're using a pair of 4" co-axial's in the front, anything run inline should be removed.

It's easy to run the front speaker wire too... takes about an hour... and the back is easy too, especially if you have the rear channels powered from an amp in the trunk...

check out my website for some stupid photos of me being stupid :)

The stinger wire i mentioned can be seen in the picture below... and it runs fo rabout $1.25 PER FOOT! It's very easy to run, because it's round... about the diamter of an 8 gauge power wire... not so easy to strip though...

enjoy!
