I have to go get the head from the machine shop.
Had them replace the long exhaust studs. One was already broken and 2 more snapped replacing them. Total head re-work (pressure test/light surfacing/valve job) cost $450!! Valve job and stud work was $315 on top of original $135 quote for pressure test/resurface. Seems high but a little too late now... I hope everything goes together well and that there is a noticable improvement in power. I hope if power does improve, that my tranny now does not explode. That'd piss me off.
Thanks for the intel. I will check for the mark/key on the crank pulley/balancer. Couldn't see one in the dark.
