1. Lightly lube cams and followers with 10W30
2. Re-install followers in original holes,
3. Re-install cams at TDC, making sure to put bearing caps and bolts back in original order (will dbl. check oil passage bolts are correct.
4. Spray gasket tack on intake gasket and set in place
5. Attach exhaust manifold with new gasket in place - torque to spec
6. Install guide bolts and sleeves in block,
7. Set crank to TDC
8. Lay head gasket on block
9. Install head, torque to spec
10. Install cam sprockets in accordance with manual
11. Install cam chain tensioner and tension chain
12. Rotate crank 360 degrees - cams go around twice - check cam timing
13. Repeat as needed until cam degrees out correct.
Sound like a plan? I have the saab factory manual as a reference. Getting a little nervous now that install is near!
