95 9000 CSE FPT. Bought car 2 days ago. Very good condition but blown flexible section of exhaust, although plenty boost and great fun. Just had exhaust section replaced. I did a quick run for 1 junction of motorway, great, smooth and didn't sound like a tank anymore - v. happy. I turned around at the next junction and as soon as I put my foot down to rejoin motorway, I only get base boost, ie needle straight up. I've read many helpful posts on this today and done the following checks: nothing obviously leaking, I removed W hose from BPC (no change, still base boost), I read the posts re adapting (thinking that now exhaust repaired the ECU realised something had changed) so I disconnected ECU for 20 mins and reconnected - still no change.
The idle seems slow and lumpy but I know the engine mounts need replacing -or is this a clue?
I'm starting new job tomorrow which will require travelling all over UK and really hoping for a quick fix to this. Can anyone help?
