Thanks for the quick response Gavin. I would have gone for the unplug battery method, but there is no note of the radio code in the paperwork and I didn't want to go that way just yet.
Assming there isn't a way of retrieving the radio code (aside from getting it from Dealer) how long should ECU be disconnected? I also noticed another large plug next to the ECU and unplugged that too (A little knowledge..etc :-)) Although I had no change when I put it all back together this PM, should I disconnect this other plug as well as the ECU?
As my last car was a non turbo 9000 CDE 2.3, It won't be any slower than that, so I guess I shouldn't be such a whinging pom, but having tasted the sweet nectar of 2.3 Turbo on boost, apple juice just doesn't cut it!....:-)
