#1 Could also be the ABS relay or fuse under the hood on the from drivers side.
#2 Common error code when the transistor is burned up. Because the bearings in the bosch motor wear out over time they begin to pull more amps to turn, this eventually heats up the transistor too much and the fan gets stuck on one speed. You will need to replace the transistor after you have replaced the blower motor.
#3 & #4 have been solved.
The above solutions were true in my case for both cars and the saab junkyard here has several more with simliar problems prior to being wrecked. I had to order the transistor through an electronics dealer (I believe it is on Quasi's site). The ABS problem might also be water in the compression tank. Flush and refill the brake fluid if it is milky or brown.
