TCS car donot have AIC,electric throtle control does,it all.As far as idle, yes loose timing chain will cause idle problems, but i would test compression to see what engine health is first.Look for less than 10%difference between all the cylinders for a good report.A cylinder with more than 15% should be repaired. As far as the nois.,take a long handle screwdriver and place the tip against a spot to listen to and rest the handle against your skull above you ear. This will allow you to hear the sound very clearly.Move the tip around to home in on and locate the sound. You might just have a hydralic valve lifter that is colasped and making noise.A oil change with a quart of Rislone oil cleaner added in the engine might clear it up.If not the lifter will have to be removed and then cleaned externally, donot worry about that just yet.Do a compression test first and report the results first.
