Hey Aerrr...ro

On my 93 CSE (226K miles) I replaced all of the small vacuum hose. These are the little ones that attach the two switches (one on fire wall, other on fender) to the throttle body, and the intake manifold. One hose also goes to the turbo bypass valve on the intake pipe before the TB. On my car these were all in terrible condition, they just about broke into pieces when I touched them. On your newer car you may not have the same problem.
In fact I may still have a TCS problem, its only been a few days since I
changed the hoses, which doesn't exactly eliminate the potential for an
intermittent problem (like a faulty sensor within the expensive TB, which
I fear the most).

A manual that I have about TCS (written for a SAAB mechanic with all the
scaners, break out boxes, computer, etc which I don't have) suggests that if the LHM clears after a on/off/on restart, the problem is not as serious
as it otherwise might be.

Do you get a check engine light along with LHM? If so you may have a bad
electrical connection to the switches I refered to above. In my tinkering
I intentionally removed the plug from the switch on the fire wall with the
motor running. It immediately went into LHM w/"check engine" on. (My
manual says NEVER do anything like that, which I read afterward). Eeuroparts claims that this switch is the cause for 90% of TCS LHM
problems. Wasn't the cause in my case...

I don't know about the gas pedal potentiometer. Hopefully one of the
other guys will help on that.

keep me informed, please, since I may need the benefit of your experience!
