I'm having a really steep learning curve today ...
When I read "HG broke" what I pictured in my mind is not what actually happened, now that I more carefully reread the original post and understand what all is involved.
yaofeng is right--if the head is still on, leaving it there is the best option, and a high temp sealant should do the trick.
I hate it when I make mistakes in public ...
