though it may be a step down in that my 1993 2.3 CSE is a little faster and has some more goodies. I'm looking at the cost of fitting the Aero suspension (I think I went too far fitting Abbott springs to my present car). I was impressed by how smooth and quiet the "new" car was: the auto transmission is much smoother than mine, door seals are better, boost is very good. The paintwork and interior are very much better than mine, plus it has a sunroof and they are hard to find.
They are fixing some little things (little, but maybe $1,000 worth if I had to pay for them). But the main thing is that I'm getting a good one-year warranty, and the guys will take my present car, wich saves me finding a buyer. I'm swapping over my Aero wheels and tyres to the new car. Got the price down a bit, too. Time will tell if I've made the right choice!
