First off, cross-drilled rotors are form-before-function bling-bling crap unless they're made like Porsche rotors (that is, the holes are cast into the rotor blank.) Generally a bad idea.
Wheel balance is an art, in my experience maybe one in five shops can do it *right*. You need either a Hunter GSP5700 machine or a *very* skilled tech, preferably both. If balancing with minimum weight means putting weights on the outside of the wheel that's where they should go.
If you get a road-speed-related vibration swap wheels around, if it goes away or moves with the wheel you're on the right track (if not balance, then bent wheel or tire runout), if it doesn't you need to look elsewhere.
Vibration under acceleration is CV joint, engine mount, suspension bushing, tie-rod end, maybe wheel bearing.
Vibration under braking is brake rotor, wheel bearing, suspension bushing, tie-rod ends. Maybe worn struts if they're *really* bad and the shafts wobble in the tubes.
At 158K it could be any of the above.
