I'd be happy to entertain thoughts of a set of Ronals with new tires.
Sorry to hear that you lost the car but it could, of course, have been worse.
Mini's a BMW now. Shouldn't they include free scheduled maintenance as new BMW's do? Either way I'd vote for the Mini, I've sat in one and actually fit and being the size I am that's a HUGE plus for any vehicle.
Other cars to suggest: volvo s60r, s40T5, V70r, WRX, integra/rsx, mazda 3, Mazda 6, rx8, perhaps a G35. I found the interior of the g35 coupe/350z to be too small. Many of these are out of your price range but I'm a dreamer.
