Hello all fellow 9000s! I know this has been discussed in a couple of posts recently, but I think this warrants its own post...

The CD player in my '93 Aero is acting up a bit. (It's the stock Clarion CD/EQ unit, paired with the tuner/casette deck.) It has trouble reading CD's for long periods of time, and ends up quitting when there are scratches on the disc, or it gets bumped enough to skip. (The CD's come out quite hot, so I think it might be heat-related)

I'm pretty happy (at least not displeased) with the stock system (speakers will be upgraded soon) but I'm thinking about replacing the pair if I can't fix this problem, and have been intrigued by the Nakamichi units (because they don't look too gaudy, and seem to be high in the quality area.)

My questions:
Has anyone experienced and fixed the problem I described?
Could anyone who's installed a Nakamichi unit in their 9000 send me a picture (email me) so I can see the finished installation appearance?
Also, any comments on other receivers/speakers that people are happy with would be appreciated.
