I made this out of two bits of 3/4" plywood. The base is exactly 5 3/8" across, and the 3/4" width fits the pump collar pretty good. I bought a new pump a year or so ago and managed to change it out without breaking anything - oh, the hole drilled at the top is for a dowel- sliding it in, it can be used to create lots of leverage [and that's why I doubled the two pieces of wood].
The spacing across the center is 2 1/2 " wide by 1 1/2" high, and the height of the 'finger' on the right is 3/4" before the tapered section leads up and to the right.
Move slowly and patiently. Hope nothing breaks on yours.
